“Homeland Ghana has made our school stand out in terms of the support we have received.”

I am Ruffina, the Headmistress of Siniensi Junior High School. I have been here for a year. I do not teach regularly, but I take over when a teacher is not available.

For me, teaching is a passion. I have always loved being able to pass on knowledge to students and help prepare them for the future.

Before I became the Headmistress of Siniensi JHS, Homeland Ghana was already working with the school and had done a lot. The support we received, including marker boards and books, has created a better environment for teaching and learning.

One type of support that has made a difference is the provision of textbooks. They have made teaching easier and helped students take part in reading and discussions. This is also helping to improve students’ overall performance.

Homeland Ghana has made our school stand out because of the support we have received. We see our school as different from other schools. We appreciate your support, and we hope you can do more for us.

Support for education is important because our school has limited access to resources, partly because we are far from the district office. Teachers are often unwilling to accept postings to this area because of the challenges here. However, with Homeland Ghana’s support, things are changing for the better.
