Get Involved

Our ongoing support for children and school communities is only possible thanks to the generosity of our partners and our local community.  If you are interested in supporting us, below are some ideas of how you can get involved.

Volunteer with Us

Volunteering with Homeland Ghana is a meaningful way to help children and school communities. It’s also an opportunity to develop and enjoy new experiences. You’ll connect with your community, meet new people, learn new skills, and share what you know.

Why volunteer with Homeland Ghana?

We do everything we can to give more children access to good education. The barriers Ghanaian children face in their journey to formal education can be significantly reduced with your help.

All our volunteer roles are supported. We’ll give you an induction and relevant training, and you’ll always have space to raise issues.

For many of our roles, you do not need specific skills. We’re only asking that you be enthusiastic and willing to get involved. We’ll support your professional development with recommendations and news about internal vacancies.

Who can volunteer?

Volunteering is open to everyone, from all backgrounds. There’s no upper age limit, though you’ll need to be at least 18 to apply.

You may be unsure how volunteering fits your background, health or personal circumstances. But whatever your life experience, we’d value your contribution.
