Across basic schools in Builsa North, many children face barriers that limit their learning – from lack of learning materials to limited access to training and support. Overcoming these barriers takes sustained, consistent support. That’s why Honor Roll exists.

What does Homeland Ghana do?
We work with basic schools in Builsa North, Ghana to improve children’s participation in education. Our current focus for 2027 is on classroom resources – ensuring children have the textbooks, stationery and learning materials they need to learn well every day.
Why focus on classroom resources?
During our field week observing lessons from KG to JHS 3, we saw that the biggest barrier to learning was lack of basic materials. When children have what they need in the classroom, they are more likely to stay in school, participate, and learn well.
