Before Homeland Ghana’s support, I faced challenges such as limited educational support, which made it difficult to focus on my studies. Despite these challenges, I remained determined to succeed. Homeland Ghana Foundation became an important part of my education by supporting me and encouraging me to believe in myself. Their support motivated me to work hard, stay focused on my studies and follow my dream of studying Fashion.
One of my most memorable experiences was taking part in a Child Rights Workshop organised by Homeland Ghana Foundation. During the workshop, I learned about children’s rights, the importance of education and how to speak up for myself and others. The experience helped me become more confident, take part more actively in school and work towards my goals. Knowing that people cared about my future gave me hope and encouraged me to take my education seriously.
The support I received has helped shape the person I am today. It has made me more confident, helped me focus on my studies and encouraged me to keep going despite challenges. Today, I am a Level 300 student at Takoradi Technical University, studying for a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Studies. I also encourage young people in my community to value education, believe in themselves and never give up on their dreams.
