Before Homeland Ghana’s support, I faced challenges such as limited education support, which made it difficult to concentrate on my education. Despite these obstacles, I remained determined to succeed. Homeland Ghana Foundation became an important part of my academic journey by supporting my education and encouraging me to believe in myself. Their support motivated me to work hard, stay focused on my studies, and pursue my dream of studying Fashion.
One of my most memorable experiences was participating in a Child Rights Workshop organised by Homeland Ghana Foundation. Through the workshop, I learned about children’s rights, the importance of education, and how to speak up for myself and others. The experience helped me become more confident, active in school, and determined to achieve my goals. Knowing that people genuinely cared about my future gave me hope and inspired me to take my education seriously.
The support I received has shaped the person I am today. It strengthened my confidence, improved my focus, and encouraged me to persevere despite challenges. Today, I am a Level 300 student at Takoradi Technical University pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Studies. I also strive to encourage young people in my community to value education, believe in themselves, and never give up on their dreams.
I am sincerely grateful to Homeland Ghana Foundation for investing in my education and future. Your support and encouragement have played an important role in my journey, and I appreciate the opportunities you have given me. I look forward to making a positive impact in my community and inspiring others through my own story.’
