Our Impact

Commitment and Service in the Fight Against COVID-19
During the COVID-19 pandemic, our outreach to families garnered recognition. The International Human Rights Commission acknowledged our efforts, and we were highlighted in two leading news outlets in Ghana. Additionally, we aided schools by supplying them with personal protective equipment for their reopening.

Brick by Brick– School Washroom Construction
We raised seven thousand pounds (£7000) to support girls’ education through the construction of a clean, safe, and private toilet facility at one of our partner schools. Five months later, the construction was completed, benefiting over 100 students, including boys, girls, and teachers, who continue to do so.
The Difference We Make
Thanks to our team, stakeholders, partners and donors, we have supported over 1,100 school children to learn and perform better at the basic level of their education. Here is a closer look at the difference we have made:
Our School Intervention activities, including Child Rights Training, School Supplies and Uniform Distributions, and PAD distribution and education, support over 700 students annually. Our reports indicate:
- After the delivery of the four workshops, students’ understanding of child rights, including the various types of abuse, granted rights, and duty bearers, showed significant improvement. In our pilot, students’ knowledge of child rights increased by 42%. In the 2022 training, the knowledge also increased, this time by 47%.
- Teachers agree that the school supplies provided significantly improve students’ preparedness and readiness for learning.
- 87% improvement in Preparedness
- 77% improvement in lesson Participation
- 70% improvement in Self-Esteem
- 74% of schoolgirls say they feel “more confident” and able to concentrate in lessons during their menstrual period, compared to 31% before our intervention.
- All students reported finding our Anti-Social Behaviour workshops interesting, enjoyable, and educational, with each child learning at least one new thing.
