Our Work
Educational Access
Removing Barriers to Learning
Many children face challenges that prevent them from fully participating in education. We help remove those barriers so every child has the opportunity to attend school, learn effectively, and pursue their future aspirations.
Our Educational Access work includes:
- Learning materials and school supplies
- Menstrual health support for girls
Impact Statement
When barriers to education are removed, children are better able to attend school consistently, engage in learning, and progress through their education with confidence.
Educational Quality
Creating Safe and Supportive Learning Environments
Access to school alone is not enough. Children learn best when they feel safe, supported, and equipped with the knowledge and skills they need to thrive.
Through our Educational Quality & Wellbeing activities, we work with pupils, teachers, and schools to create positive learning environments that support both academic and personal development.
This work includes:
- Teacher support and classroom resources
- Child safeguarding and protection education
- Life skills and personal development workshops
- Health and wellbeing education
- School improvement initiatives
Impact Statement
By strengthening learning environments and supporting children’s wellbeing, we help students build confidence, develop essential life skills, and achieve better educational outcomes.
How we Work
Working Through Schools for Long-Term Impact
We partner directly with basic schools in the Builsa North District to identify needs, deliver support, and measure impact.
We also work closely with the District Education Office, education staff, and the Social Welfare Department to ensure our programmes align with local priorities and contribute to the wellbeing and development of children.
