Honor Roll
What Honor Roll Is
Honor Roll is a community committed to ensuring Ghanaian children can fully participate in basic education without shame, barriers, or compromise.
Of course I am part of this. It reflects who I am.
Why Honor Roll Exists
Across Ghana, many children face challenges that limit their full participation in basic education, including stigma, limited resources, and systemic barriers. We work closely with basic schools and local authorities to support children to remain in school with dignity, care, and respect.
Honor Roll exists because this work requires consistency.
Who Honor Roll Is For
Honor Roll is for people who:
- Believe education is a right, not a privilege
- Understand that long term change requires consistency
- Want to belong to something values led and grounded
How to Be Part of Honor Roll

What does Homeland Ghana do?
We work with schools and local authorities in Ghana to improve children’s participation in basic education. We focus on removing barriers that push children out of school with dignity, consistency, and respect.
Why focus on basic education?
When children are able to stay in school, many other possibilities begin to open up. Basic education lays the foundation for literacy, confidence, communication, and long term opportunity.
We focus on improving the quality of the time children spend in school. When learning is meaningful and consistent, it becomes one of the most effective long term investments a community can make.
How can I support your work?
Some follow our work and learn alongside us. Others choose to stand more consistently through Honor Roll.
There is no expectation, only invitation.
What is Honor Roll?
Honor Roll is a community of people who stand for children’s basic education in Ghana. It’s not a campaign or a one-off donation. It’s about belonging, consistency, and shared values.
Do I have to donate to be involved?
No. Honor Roll begins with alignment, not payment. People are welcome whether or not they choose to give.
How are donations used?
When you select a giving option, your support is aligned with that area of our work. It is then planned and delivered within the broader context of school needs, timing, and coordination. This allows us to respond thoughtfully rather than reactively, while staying true to the focus you chose.
Is this work urgent?
Our approach is not driven by urgency, but by consistency. Sustainable change happens when support is steady and long-term.
