How We’ve Helped Thousands of Children in Ghana: Our 6-Year Journey!

Educating young children is key to building a better future. It helps create healthier communities, stronger economies, and happier children. Homeland Ghana Educational Foundation works to support schools, making sure children have access to quality basic education, training and resources while encouraging them to attend school regularly.

Our Mission 🎯
We want to help children go to school and learn by giving them what they need. This includes:

  • Uniforms 👕
  • Menstrual hygiene products 🚺
  • Stationery (pens, pencils, books) ✏️📖

Our Journey So Far 🎉

  • 2018: Our first project was renovating chalkboards in two schools. 🖋️
  • 2021: With help from over 300 donors, we built a private, clean and safe toilet facility at a school. 🚻
  • 2022: We launched a program to teach children about their rights and how to protect themselves. 📘
  • 2023: We provided resources and training to 1,100 children in 20 schools

What We’re Doing Now 🌟

After our successful Child Rights Education project, we are now focusing on training programs about:

  • Substance Abuse (like the dangers of drugs)
  • Anti-Social Behaviour (helping children understand social behaviours better) 💊🚫

Not Just a Nice Story: Real Impact in Action
As we reflect on the past six years, it’s clear that our work goes beyond just sharing inspiring stories. We’re making a real difference in the lives of children and communities. The feedback we receive from schools and students shows that our efforts are truly helping, and we’re committed to continuing this important work to ensure every child has access to quality education.
